Thank You Ben for everything. As a young boy I didn't know much about comics, I just knew I loved superman. Ten years ago, I watched a video about flashpoint (your first video) which led me down a rabbit hole of other youtubers who were just as passionate. During a time when being a comic book fan was looked down upon, and not really talked about outside of certain circles, it was you that rekindled my love for superhero media and got me into those comic bookstores and introduced me to way more stories and characters I would have never considered picking up. You made an outcasted 13-year-old boy not feel alone in his love for a weird and fun hobby and made it seem like the coolest thing ever with your passion. Now at 24 I still watch your videos. As a long time, lurker I have watched this channel grow and was there every minute of the journey. I can't thank you enough Ben, Rest in peace.

in a way, it's nice, that his last video wasn't a big spectacle, or a sad goodbye, it's just a man talking about what he loves, discussing it and looking forward to hearing the thoughts of others.
it's melancholic, he deserved better, he deserved longer, but at least the time he got was spent doing what he loved, we'll miss you Benny, you've taught us so much about comics, and you introduced me to storylines i never even knew existed. thank you for everything.
