📚 DESCRIPTION

The God Delusion makes the case for science as our fundamental source of hope, optimism, and inspiration in life, arguing that religion is an outdated by-product of evolution, that God doesn’t exist, and that we can be just as happy, moral, and fulfilled without it.

The God he speaks of does not exist, but there is a God who does beyond our finite minds and understands the irrational emotions of love and hate, as explained by the Oxford professor atheist turned Christian C.S. Lewis in The Case for Christianity. That may be another book to review as all sides are honestly reflected upon. J.R.R. Tolkien of The Lord of the Rings, interestingly enough, had a profound effect on Lewis's change of belief.

Tell people someone is coming, they'll wait
If you're not religious, you're going to try to live your best life here, now. Because you have no hope you're coming back and this is it
If you're religious, you live with hope of coming back which is more peaceful

Escape: Just live morally good, believe you'll come back. Act like you don't see. Act dumb, act blind. Till your deathbed with a 50 50 chance you're coming back. Life is a game, and we've already lost

A correct understanding of the true paradigm of our existence and reality points to the existence, not of the God of scripture, but of a mind-like entity. The creation of realities is a technological endeavor more than it is a theistic and divine one. So we indeed have a creator/cause, but it is far different from the God we think it is.

The contradictions mentioned: eye for an eye, jesus born in Nazareth or Bethlehem, both show that the author does not have an understanding of the bible, as both can be easily discerned by reading the bible, and are not conflicting. This tells me the author has not researched the bible, but merely contradicted false beliefs about the bible. He also is strong on biological evolution. According to evoloution, it is survival of the fittest, meaning the strongest features survive, causing slow change.. from amoeba, to fish to mammals... However, there is a glitch in the matrix.. The life cycle of a butterfly, or moth, or fly. Scientists explain it, metamorphosis and such. However, metamorphosis goes against evolution. When the butterfly "transforms from worm to butterly, it breaks down into a gooey biological mass, and then reforms into the adult butterfly. This goes against the theory of evolution. Again, science explains the process, but it does not have a good argument for how it even came to be.
