The Carlinkit 4 could convert/transcode AA to Carplay and made it possible to use wireless AA in a Carplay only activated car audio system. Why have you chosen not to make this possible in the newer ver. 5? Some car manufactures only offers Carplay or like in most Mercedes audio systems, the AA implementation is crappy and not full screen (like just seen in your video) but full screen when using Carplay - That is why so many users was happy using Carlinkit 4 and was hoping ver. 5 was better in less lacking etc. but it does not seem to offer transcoding from AA to Carplay or vice versa..

Will the box work with the 2010 Lexus HS250H, the car isn't touchscreen it uses a joy stick. It doesn't have any auto or carplay at all its too old.

I use an Android cell phone and my car only has CarPlay from the factory. I bought Carlinkit 5.0 and I can't connect it for use. After trying to connect the device to my cell phone's Bluetooth, it keeps disconnecting quickly. It doesn't work at all. Is there any alternative?

Hi! I have an aiways u5 and a carlink kit (it came with the car from the previous owner) when I travel long distance after a few hours it stop. Connecting with the car, says connect product or connect phone to the product, I think maybe it is just old and I want a new one wireless this time, are the 5.0 compatible with my aiways u5 with easyconnect/carbitlink apple airplay? The issue I am facing is that it wirelessly connects to carplay for the first time and even works perfectly but once I turn off the car and want to reconnect it, no matter what I do, it doesn't work. It either keeps disconnecting with the bluetooth or it stucks on connecting. Tried upgrading the firmware aswell but the issue persists. Do you know what could be the issue here?
