How to find your game playtime on PS5

On the PlayStation 5 you can now find out how many hours you've put into a game. We thought we'd do a little video to show you how to find out your PS5 playtime, but it seems Sony have been keeping tabs on us for ages, as it shows your PS4 game time as well. Finally!

I miss the progress bar from PS4's trophies list.
It's much more effective way of providing the degree of progression for games. It's just instant and you know roughly the % with just one quick look instead of reading two sets of numbers when there are DLCs involved

this feature is the last rubbish. he doesn't really count that at all, i'm yakuza playing on ps5. stopped at 23 hours I haven't played the game through yet and my time is 67 hours. many on my list do not show the time correctly. I've read in a few forums that this is the case with some players. try it yourself. I turn the game off because it was played 3 days ago.

Just checked my time played, and it says that I have 1, 032 hours on The Witcher 3. Sounds about right, hahaha...

this feature is useless and broken...i got 32 hours of playtime on batman arkham knight, problem is i know i got more hours into it that hasnt updated at all..i played it for 3 hours straight yesterday and my time stayed at 32 hours when i closede the app, didnt update to 35 hours total playtime which is what it should be i've even checked after 24 hours and it still hasnt updated/synced its as if that time hasn't counted at all. it seems to be getting worse because the playtime for any game isnt updating at all now.

I feel like it’s wrong tho? It says I’ve only played elden ring for 17 hours for example but when I log in and check the playtime in game I have well over 120 hours ?

My playtime for Demon's Souls stopped counting :/ not sure why that happened.

Hate to break it to you, but 89 hours is really not a lot… I have 5K hours in Rocket League for reference… now that’s a lot.
