How to create Partition on Windows 11 | Partition Hard Drives

In this video we will see How to reformat and partition a hard drive on a Windows PC.
Disk partitioning is essentially separating the hard disk into different sections or parts for storage. If you want to try a new operating system without overwriting your main Windows drive, you can do this partitioning the hard drive.

Partitioning the hard disk also makes it possible to multiboot different operating systems. In addition to creating multiboot configurations, you can also use partitions as extra storage mediums for specific files or for backing up important files.

The only thing to add is that if you want to make a round 10 GiB (GB in disk management) partition, then you need to multiply 10 by 1024 MiB (MB in disk management). And if you want the windows file explorer to list this partition size as a round whole number, then you need to add 1 MB to the above number.
So to make an exact 10GB partition that also appears in file explorer as 10GB, you need to input the number 10241 MB in the "amount to shrink" field.
