Just made this recipe tonight (and everyone in my household loved it!) As a tip for people planning to make this, you should definitely check your blueberries first that they aren’t too tart and if they are I would for sure recommend lessening the amount of lemon juice in the recipe. Thanks for the video John it was extremely helpful!

I'm glad you make a ton of pie recipes. The crust to me is just as important as the filling. And you are the only one I can find that makes it look so good. I tried it and mine shrank like crazy, so thanks for the comment about not stretching the crust.

First time viewer, and just in time. My wife's favorite pies are blueberry ones, and it's Mother's Day, so I'm surprising her. Followed this recipe to the letter, and it's in the oven now. So excited to have it tonight. With the leftover dough, I cut them into strips, pressed the strips into sugar, twisted them like bread twists, then topped with parmesan cheese!

I made this pie, but used my own tried and true recipe for the crust. The filling and cream glaze were to die for. I sprinkled the top with demara sugar before baking. I appreciate your video, and well explained instructions. The weight measure were just an added plus. This pie was for some very special people so when it turned out so perfectly, I was very relieved. Thank you again.
