Something that is, and has been possible with almost every other EDA package in existence since the beginning. It's about time Altium gives it's users this feature and it's also nice to see Altium focusing on useful features for a change rather than useless things like moving functionality around the UI from dialogs to panels. Cater to the way that users design rather than forcing them to adopt your paradigm.

...and it's gone again. was wondering how to do this. turns out thet: "When connected to an Altium 365 Workspace, note that Component Templates are not supported with the Altium Designer Standard Subscription". So it's pay-walled when you are connected to the cloud they are trying so hard to get you to use. A basic feature.

As far as I can see, this feature is not implemented yet, right? There are generic simulation symbols, but not schematic... Which doesn't solve the problem as in the video.

For people trying this, or to find this, this feature is not yet released to the common user, only to beta :(.

Who in their right mind would put in chapters for a 45 second video.
Also, this video really sucks at trying to explain the feature, I had to restart the video and pause just to see the thing he clicked on to the get the components up.

Come on Altium, you charge many, many thousands of dollars for a product and can't even get a person to create a proper tutorial video.
