Lucky for you, imagine if this happened to an unknown customer..

Go back to the dealer and demand a full refund on your pre delivery charge, as they clearly didn't do the work that you paid for.

This is probably why there's a lot of angry Ranger driver's on the road that cut you off and run red lights 😂

I had picked up new raptor 3 weeks ago, I found there is a noise coming out from left front wheel and, service department found noise is coming from drive shaft, and it need to be replaced!
Drove 650km and need to replace drive shaft on a brand new car. Disapointing😤

Wildtrak V6 delivered in May 2023. Over 8000 kms and no issues at all and hoping it stays that way!

If a Ford doesn't have problems that's a miracle.

the service department obviously didn't do there pre delivery very good.

Currently my 2023 wildtrack V6 - 3000 kms is in a ford service centre for the second time for replacement of the tail shaft, it’s the third one and this time they said it needs balancing, why it wasn’t balanced before is just stupid
Ford have not fixed the vibration issue with its vehicles, it’s been going on now for over 12 mths, I’m very disappointed

That's the reason why I went with a Hilux despite how great the ranger looked and all the bells and whistles

Don't worry, there will be plenty more replacement parts coming soon

A friend's father has a previous model Wildtrak, it was recalled to check the oil pump, metal shavings found in the oil, so he's getting a brand new engine, he's not complaining, he hasn't had to fight them for it.

I've had my new Raptor since November 2022. 12, 000 ks, no "issues" other than about 6 recalls for electrical setting adjustments. Nothing broken, no odd noises, and everything works. Except the infotainment can play up like a pork chop, but seems to be doing that less and less. Maybe the recalls fixed some of that as well?

Same here in Philippines. I have the same issues with my earlier generation Wildtrak. When my unit was pulled out there is a misalignment. They tried to aligned it. In less than a year, there is a trouble in the tie rod/ball joint. Sad to say, warranty is very hard to claim. Until now, its not done. Per distributor, they are still waiting for parts. The reliability is very questionable.

5k km and so far no mechanical issues. The only bugs I have found are related to software; sometimes "my view" gauge selection goes back to the default view insted on startup, and sometimes it does not load the phone and voice commands properly.

After driving the ranger I felt it was cheap and unrefined, my 2009 triton feels better to drive!

We've had our Everest Platinum for nearly a year, 15, 000 KMs on it. So many small issues and things that could be improved, all since new. A few that come to mind: handbrake doesn't always fully disengage, Matrix LED headlights blind oncoming vehicles, cruise control speeds up to 100km/h at the end of school zones (very weird bug), and some settings are reset after every service and recall. Dealer and Ford not interested in fixing anything.

It happens but I would expect a fluid check before its sent out

Had my v6 sport delivered July 22 and after the first day had a vibration from 50 kph to about 90 kph took it back to ford a couple of weeks later and they had it for almost 3 months and could not figure out what was wrong, ended up getting full refund !

Wouldn't get a Ford. Don't get me wrong, look great, but I have little confidence in the build quality of these vehicles. From what I've seen, within 12 months, something mechanical, electrical or aesthetically fails or breaks.

My last Navara lasted me 11 ½ years, 260, 000km and never had anything go on it, that wasn't normal wear and tear. Sold it, ran into the guy sometime later and he'd driven it to the Cape (top end of Qld) and back, still running strong, even after he'd hit a pig and did some roadside repairs.
