Before anything, I got an A* on both my O and A Levels Biology.

For me personally, flash cards never worked because the syllabus is too extensive to fit properly into flashcards, unless you want to have thousands of them organised by topic and chapter.

I practised as many QPs as possible and internalized as many concepts both from the marking schemes and also from the textbook (Campbell Biology is the best).

Plus, I also have strong photographic memory, so when I thought of a topic, my mind went to the page and section of the page in my notes that contained that topic.

But the most important is to practice lots of QPs and deeply understand the concepts. No shortcuts to success!
