My favorite thing about this is that most of the mentioned editors on the top 5 list don't have long terms of use agreements like paid for or other programs that are more popular. Big win for me.

Thank you for the review video. It is clear, concise, brief usage examples on products, and appreciated mostly, is not influenced by commercial sponsorships.

THANKS! I needed something to prepare for a slide show for a class reunion, that has to be finished in 3 days! This VSDC seems to do the trick. without buying it, I will have to figure out how to save it to my laptop, but hopefully I can do that. At least it is free and I just need to figure out saving it!

I'm going to try and get my head around DaVinci Resolve 18 as most of my videos are in 4k

DaVinci Resolve is awesome, but on Linux the free version of it has VERY limited codec support, which is a shame...

Great content overall with just enough information for me to make trial and adoption decision. I've selected quite a few of the #1 recommendations, from Blender and GIMP to DaVinci and LibreOffice. Well done and please keep publishing and updating your "Best of.." lists.

I'm a total beginner. I'm never going to be a videographer. It's just going to be me talking interspersed with some still shots (no videos). Where do I start?
