How To Fix LAN Wired Connected But No Internet Access in Windows 10 (Solved)

In this video tutorial, I will show you guys how to solved ISP LAN(Local Area Network) Connected in PC or Laptops but not Internet Access.

Commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset

A few days after I installed windows 10, my lan connection to the router just stopped working. I tried replacing the cable, invested in a lan-to-usb, bought a new router and even toyed with the idea of replacing the Motherboard (can you believe that?) 😅. Finally after much searching landed here. After seeing your vid, I checked the properties of the TCP/IPv4 and found that windows or some APP had installed a strange DNS server address. Changing it to 'Obtain DNS automatically ..' restarted the internet via the lan cable. Thanks a bunch you're a life saver! 🙏👍
Update: Just found out that the culprit was Norton Web protect extension. The moment I accept request to add the extension to the browser, norton added DNS server address to the TCP/IPv4 which immediately blocked internet access after next logout/boot up.

I searched a lot and your video finally helped fix the issue. Changing the IPv4 properties to 'Obtain an IP address automatically' from the static IP address that was pre filled did the trick. Thank you.

If anyone's wondering, you need the DNS settings of your ISP which you can find in your router settings.

THANK I just got a new LAN cable it wasn't working I just plugged in the Google DNS and BAM it works and it's faster than ever.
