From the the very beginning to the end of my teeth extraction, I kept hearing the same sentence repetitively from the doctor and nurse. It was crazy. It felt like my mind was ahead of what was going to happen

It just made me feel relaxed and nothing annoyed me. No laughter or strange visions for me

I needed this. My rescheduled my dentist appointment because the numbing gel they gave me didn’t actually numb anything. Infact it hurt a bit

I remember as a kid I went on laughing gas, and all I could see were flashing colors like when you rub your eyes too hard, the one tile light and the articulating light on the arm, and I felt staticky and like I was floating and spinning into the air while I felt the wind and cold water of the dentist drill and other tools in my mouth. All in all, 10/10 experience and I would love to hop on laughing gas again 😂

Was given laughing gas before having my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. It was the craziest feeling I've ever felt. At first when it started feeling like I couldn't feel my body as much I was sort of freaked out, as well as from the sensation of breathing in something that's not oxygen. But then they turned it down a bit and gave me some oxygen and something shifted in my brain. I got really happy and had a sudden epiphany, that "Oh!! This is what this feels like! I understand now!" It was like my mind was full of thoughts about my realization that I just had to get out to the people around me. I was also struck with a feeling of having less inhibition about talking to those people and expressing myself openly, which is normally hard for me. I ended up getting really emotional, thinking it was like an incredible turning point in my life that I couldn't go back from and I was laughing and crying and just so happy. And then the sedation kicked in and I remember nothing of the actual procedure.

When I was having laughing gas at the hospital, I didn’t laugh, I was actually screaming “TAKE IT OFF!” Because I got really scared because my vision was going weird. I eventually got calmed and everything looked pixelated.

How i fell after inhaling laughing gas at the dentist is kind of funny and when I heard the buzzing of the lights at the dentist so much it slowly became river music to me don't know why though and I showered my dentist doctor with compliments calling him a good man

I remember as a kid about 5 years old, I had nitrous along with sevo or one of the other gasses for general induction. When things started feeling weird, I tried to get off the table and run but was too high to do so, so I just sat there saying no, as they were trying to calm me down. Now as an adult whenever I get surgery, I always ask for the gas and they never want to give it to me. I guess they know what I'm up to 😅😅😅

Pro tip, every time you take a breath of nitrous at the dentist, hold your breath till you can and then repeat until you get your desired level of incapacitation. It works for me and everyone I know that have medical anxiety atleast 5 times better when we hold breath vs just regular breathing. Take this info as you wish but I can confirm it will help you get a stronger effect if you need it bc the general effect from normal breathing is not working well enough. And we’ll I have to say this because I know there are people out there wanting to know this, this method of nitrous use is 100% the safest way to get high on nitrous bar none as the dental pros are trained in the use of nitrous and will know exactly what to do in the very very rare event that something goes wrong, don’t worry though that’s never happened to anyone me or I know and no one at both the dental offices I’ve been to so don’t worry bout that too much you should be just fine 99.9% of the time.

TL;DR When you are inhaling nitrous at the dentist, hold it in with every breath as long as possible to receive the best anxiety reducing effects.
