Every woman should probably know it too. I like your videos, so just know that you do have women out they're learning as well!

Good, short, to-the-point topic that teaches us what our fathers, uncles, big brothers didn't!

Nice rope trick- not just for men;) Love your channel- I've learned so much from your short, concise videos. Thanks!

I do rope access inspection for work and I like that style of cleaning and hanging ropes up. The only thing I would add is to tie the ends together with a simple overhand knot at the beginning. That will keep all things even and prevent tangling at the bottom section. 🔥🔥

I was taught to finish with the open ends so that after you’ve wrapped the folded coils, you can pass the two ends through the eye and use them to make shoulder straps for carrying the rope.

"Every man should know"

It worked. I clicked. Wish I hadn't, but I did.

Always a good watch. Having said that, I prefer a figure 8 coil for all my ropes, not just climbing and rappelling lines. For me, I get less issues with tangling.

Big rope funny story! Was helping a friend put up a 40' tower so they could have an internet antenna and hdtv antenna. Had picked up some 1" hemp rope and a double and single block. Hooked everything up had all three blocks rigged. He said to give it a pull, I started backing away from the building pulling hard as I could. He and his son started yelling so I stopped and let the rope go slack. His son had been holding onto the tower and I had him 15-20 feet off the roof before he could let go! Lol. Apparently we didn't take into account how much leverage I had with the block and tackle set up we had! Second try we got the tower up and bolted in place no problems.

So many uses for rope...I've been in construction for more than 30 years...I've only needed two knots; a slip knot and truckers knot...The guys felling trees by Climbing have some SERIOUS knot work going on, Navy guys too...

Thanks for showing this, particularly that last part of securing it.
