“In seven generations you can have it” -James Dutton. The perfect ending!🔥

Love Kayce character. What a tremendous job by Luke Grimes doing a confused and violent solider who was suffering from chronic PTSD from the experiences of growing up under John Dutton's thumb, and war . Just a great character.
You see the respect RIP had for him in the end While the two men grew up hating each other, RIP finally realized that there was a lot of the loyalty and integrity he had loved in John so much, was in Kayce too. When he called him BRO it said everything. about the way RIP's feelings had developed for Kayce.

This is a fantastic ending, preserving all of that land the way it should be.

This was the most well written, satisfying end to a series I have ever seen. Enemies become friends and family, traitors are rooted out. Well done.

And the most beautiful 😍 deal to be made 😊 protected forever and also having the opportunity to stick it to Jamie’s buddies! Well done!

His father could even see that his future generation was going to suffer if they took over. They were only fighting others so that no one could build over their families burial ground... That's what both the Indians and them had in common was that their previous generations were buried there. Great series.

Hope they do a series with Beth and Rip

Such an amazing feeling... to do something that is "totally" and "completely" the right thing to do.

One thing I have learned from 6 decades.
Is when death and loss of home or anything life altering is involved.
When a man says he needs a few minutes and walks away. Don't follow him. Don't bother him. Don't be nosey.
Leave him alone. Let him have his time.

While I haven't watched the full series I've seen enough episodes with my parents to understand the series. They were not fully pleased with the ending, but to me it was a great way to wrap things up.

For anyone wondering Kacye didn’t have to sell the ranch lol for 1, in previous episodes John said the land was in a trust that Tate was the beneficiary for. And 2 Montana doesn’t charge any inheritance or estate tax on children of deceased if they are residents or own land in Montana. So idk if the writers just got lazy or they decided to make Yellowstone follow California tax laws because as soon as John died Kayce would’ve become the beneficiary until Tate turned 18 and then he would’ve owned the land tax free, but even if it wasn’t in a trust none of John’s kids would’ve had to pay a dime to own any of John’s estate besides his on hand cash and finances.

This is what it was ALL about! 7 generations of Duttons, then, to return the land to their original owners!
