Beth reminds me of Cersi from GOT. Volatile, vengeful, and craves power but doesn't know what to do from there. The title is the goal, not the job itself.

One of the weakest parts of this series for me was making Jaime such an ineffectual putzy weasel of a character. He’s Fredo, except he’s allowed to linger and be a punching bag for Beth and repeatedly betray the family.

And now he’s some big threat? Please. He either needed to be formidable from the beginning or properly dealt with earlier.

Sure Beth can blackmail Jamie with his picture but Jamie is in a much better position to end all of them and leave Beth with nothing. John is so thick headed at this point to not sell the ranch and take the half billion dollars.
