I review, breakdown and explain Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 14. I discuss the finale to Season 5 Part 2 and give my reaction to Jamie’s death, John Dutton’s funeral, Beth killing Jamie, answer what happened to Kayce, Beth, Rip, Monica and Tate and develop why Thomas Rainwater and the reservation getting control of the ranch is important. I connect the ending of the show to the promise that was made by James Dutton in 1883, Elsa Dutton's cameo, its connection to the show 1923 season 2 and also give my theories and predictions on if there will be a season 6 or a spin off.

The scene with the house and barn being torn down, the giant Y being taken down, and the gravestones being pushed over saddened and enraged me. Glad moe stopped that.

I think Rips actions burying John then kneeling was a no words needed moment

My name is John Dutton and I'm glad it was used in such a great show. I'm going to miss me. 😂 It was a Wild Ride for 7 years. Bravo Yellowstone!

I know I’m in the minority on this matter but I feel sorry for Jamie. I know I’m supposed to hate him as much as Beth but I don’t. Sheridan succeeded in making him complex as possible so he’s not a cartoon villain but he simultaneously failed to make me hate him. He wasn’t evil like Ramsey Bolton, Arthur Mitchell, Joffrey Baratheon, or Angelus. He was an abused kid who was made into the thing they hated and punished him for it. Having ambition and doing what you want doesn’t warrant capital punishment. John said he raised him with love and respect which was complete bullshit. He raised all his kids with fear, intimidation, and punishment. He was a horrible father. Kick a dog long enough and soon it’ll turn on you. Beth and John repeatedly abusing Jamie got old real quick. Her and Jamie have had the same argument every single season and never changed. Like some Game of Thrones characters at the end, Jamie got more cowardly and stupid to the point where suspension of disbelief got thrown out the window. I half expected him to record a last testimony exposing their secrets as a final 🖕🏼to this family but it never happened.

The last season felt Sheridan didn’t do justice to John Dutton. I fell both Kevin and Sheridan weren’t respectful to the millions of fans that made the series what it became Epic and everlasting a brilliant series. They both should’ve had the best to give to a finale worth remembering..unfortunately this wasn’t the case. To the rest of the cast thank you for an amazing. Performance 💛💛💛💛Bravo

It was lame! Thank you Taylor for letting your ego destroy a great show! The last 5 episodes lacked imagination and creativity!

Absolutely no way Rip and Beth would have gotten away with killing and disposing of Jamie in this day and age of mass camera surveillance.

I’m sad that the show had to end. I am glad that I don’t have to see Taylor Sheridan again!

Kayce didn’t ask a single question about jaime? No one but beth ever knew he had a kid. She murders him in his home and gets a happy ending haha. This whole season was shit. Yellowstone was over years ago

My Dad said before he died, it cannot be certain our wishes will be carried out. That was so true. As best as you document, construct, "estate plan", forces ultimate determine the course of the stuff we leave behind when we die.

Casey finally forgiving his dad hit me hard. There were some great scenes in this episode.

The adopted kid who was used and tossed away because he didn’t obey the family 100 percent gets killed by the sociopathic sister because she can’t take any responsibility for her part in a mistake that was made when she and her brother were teens, a mistake made mainly because they feared their fathers reaction and her and her serial killer husband are the hero couple to root for. lol

And before some say Rip is not a serial killer wiki says a serial killer (also called a serial murderer) is a person who murders three or more people, [1] with the killings taking place over a significant period of time in separate events. So he fits lol

A lot of people may have been disappointed but I personally felt it was a good ending to a great show. Beth delivered to Jamie what she promised the Indians got what they deserved and Kayce and his family were free to live their life the way they wanted. The cowboys would end up doing what they loved at other ranches. What more could you want? I was so glad that other major characters were not killed off and we got to see what they did with their lives. All in all a great ending!

I would hope Taylor Sheridan will give us fans what his original ending was when he began the show. With Costner leaving, that changed up the original plans. Hopefully we'll know what that was supposed to be one day for some closure. I didn't like most of these new episodes. There was basically a few moments in each episode that was worthy of telling us something. Most of it felt like 'filler' for Taylor Sheridan to show off himself and his riding ability. But I've been waiting a long time for the final showdown between Beth and Jamie. And man, was I happy with that scene. All in all, I'll miss this show. But glad the land was returned how it was. I did get sad watching everything the Dutton's built being torn down. But it was a fitting ending in the end.

Gosh the show runner and writer ruined this completely him getting to famous and big headed. Thinking he was bigger than Costner and the show didn’t need him

This was freaking terrible season. You could tell the director just wanted it to end. Bad writing, acting, and story telling.
