How to remove oil stains from clothes | Easy & Effective method

In this video you will see how to remove oil stains from clothes. To remove oil stain from clothes you will need baby powder, dish wash liquid & an old toothbrush. First cover the oil stain with baby powder. Then rub the area with an old toothbrush. Then take 1 teaspoon of dish wash liquid and 4 teaspoon of water. Then mix them properly. Then soak the oil stained area in this mixture for 30 minutes. Finally rub the area with an old toothbrush and clean it properly.

Guys I didn't have talcum powder, so I used ash from my incense stick (Baking soda also works according to some other videos!). I know carbon has absorbent qualities, you might not want to do it to white clothes (maybe), but it worked perfectly for me on a brown faux leather mouse mat!! Stubborn Oil stains vanished completely. :'>

What I did, I used hand sanitizer to reengage the oil and scrubbed a bit (Usually Isopropyl alcohol is used), and then I put plenty of ash on it. After a while the alcohol evaporated and I noticed the grey ash turned darker and absorbed some of the oil. I left it for 2 hours scrubbing every 30 mins to scatter fresher ash on the oil for more absorption, and then followed along with the video.

Thank you for this! A jacket was thrown in the the trunk of my car and had no idea there was spilled engine oil. It was on the collar, on upper back and on the front. I needed to soak in a large bin and just did the 1:4 parts dish soap to water. I had to be generous w the baby powder and did all 5 steps just as you said and it completely 💯 worked!!

You used a clean t shirt and then put the oil on and reversed the sequence to make it look like you removed the oil stain, you can tell this because all the folds on the T-shirt are exactly the same on the clean T-shirt and the dirty one 🙄
