ETO Doors - How to remove an oil stain

Owning a house naturally leads to wear and tear. One of the most common mishaps are oil stains, which can be very difficult to remove. Fret not, ETO Doors has a solution to remove those pesky oil stains from your wood doors.

First, apply a little lacquer thinner. Wipe gently with the grain. Its important to always make sure you're wiping with the grain. Next, sand the spot lightly, and wipe the oil stain multiple times until the spot is almost faint. Finally, allow the wood to dry, and watch the oil virtually disappear.

Worked great! I had spilled oil from an oil diffuser all over a wooden table and not realized it until 2 days later. The massive oil stain is mostly gone now & pretty much unnoticeable. Thank you!

But it is going to ruin the finish. My husband spilled ranch dressing on our BRAND NEW coffee table. I have no idea what to do about it....other than divorce him!
