Graco Ultra Airless Sprayer Handheld - Cordless Spraying DEMO
Heres a DEMO using the Graco Ultra handheld airless sprayer, showing how to spray a wall. Looking at spraying fan and adjusting pressure. This is the cordless Graco ultra paint sprayer.
(please note this is a demo to show the unit in action, speed, coverage and how much you can expect to get from a cup. Very minimal overspray, but a mask is always recommended for protection).

This is part 2 of 3 part series. Here we have already unboxed the contents and ran through whats included. Flushed the sprayer out and now we're ready to spray.

Im using a 616fflp tip. Unthinned, using black filter. My tip would be to dilute it by about 10% as it will ease the flow and help get the pressure lower. Ideally you dont want to be running it past power 8 as it will just wear it down fast and also wear out the pump quick. So by thinning slightly it will ease flow and allow you to get a nicer spray fan faster, and it also helps the battery last longer.

If you're new to handheld airless sprayers hopefully this will give you some more confidence and help when it comes to using your new machine. If you haven't seen part 1 then check it out to make sure you flushed the system out before using paint.

Take a look and hopefully you find the video helpful.
Part 3 to follow which will go over the clean down.

It is nice to see it used in a real world situation. Many of the videos show someone spraying white on white. 👍👍

With a few of the full cup systems filled up ahead of time you can get more paint going fast.

I often do something small. But I could see myself loading up a few cups ahead of time and doing a room. With the old and new one you should be able to fill them both up and maybe a couple extra cup on the ready to rock n roll.

Pump won’t last too long doing rooms like that, they’re only suitable for small jobs.

Hello, I have Graco Ultra Airless Handheld Sprites. The question is whether you can attach a backpack to ProPack, if not, why !?

Don’t thin the paint for better results.

Thanks for the demo.
On average how many quarts/litres will these handhelds spray, before wearing out? - appreciating that different viscosity paints and using the sprayers at different settings, will affect this figure - hence asking for an average.
At that point it's straight forward to replace the pump? How much does the pump cost?
For painting doors with something like Benjamin Moore Advance satin, what sort of tip would you recommend?
Do you think with the right tip and practise, it's possible to attain the sort of finish on trim, you'd get with a slower speed HVLP/XVLP?

I really wish i could get one of these in Australia. Nobody has them!
How much are they? How do the go spraying upside down?

Why didn't you spray your corners while using it? Just curious if there's a reason. Nice video

its all about tip sizes and making sure its really productive and cost effective to bother with the speed needs, coverage, refilling time etc.
These toys are for louvers, small detail spraying, but not cabinets where spraying the doors are ok, but not a huge amount of cabinet corners on the frames. Too much fatigue for hand held applications. Good for touch-ups, maybe a few doors etc.
The higher volume more powerful turbine HVLP, s work very well with remote cups
able to turn gun upside down with cupless guns.
These airless cordless put the material on too thin and way too slow.
Too much refilling to do any full size surfaces
I would own one if I didnt have a diaphram airless with a hopper to put in smaller amount
of paint for small jobs. Short airless hoses with a regular airless gun which is way more maneuverable, especially inside cabinets where this sprayer cannot go
