Mine got water in it. Shut off. I immediately turned it back on. It came on went through start up then went dark.
It still comes on but screen does not.

Stop confusing people. The water in the phone is not the problem, the corrosion that comes after is.

I do the power button/ volume down buttton but the apple logo doesnt show up its just making vibration and sound

Does Rice actually help? I have kept the phone for twenty four hours straight and no good change has been noted. I put that for six more hours again. Is the dearth of change because of my having kept the phone inside Rice for hours in an irregular pattern? Furthermore, is there any particular Rice you suggest I use?

after my iphone xs had a greenscreen flickering problem, it was around 20 minutes after water exposure. I put it in rice for around 2 days, after i took it out of the rice, the phone turned on, the buttoms worked and the audio was perfect but the screen was black and the phone responded to touches, should i just get a new phone or something
