So human to sing the Canadian Anthem as it is usually sung, en français first then in English, in order to represent out country. (For those who might wonder why the partie de langue francaise" is sung first, it is because it is the French that did discover Canada.

The Canadian national anthem should be that, half French half English

Traditionalists instead of judges respect an amazing performance for an American singer. Merci beaucoup, Monsieur McDonald!

Dear Rest of the League: This is the way it's supposed to be done. Find real singers, please.

I wish the anthem was half French but like me half of us don’t know French. But I’m learning. Wish me luck! Souhaite-moi bonne chance!

Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,

O Canada!
Land of our ancestors
Glorious deeds circle your brow
For your arm knows how to wield the sword
Your arm knows how to carry the cross;
Your history is an epic
Of brilliant deeds
And your valour steeped in faith
Will protect our homes and our rights,
Will protect our homes and our rights.

I would love to interpret this song switching from ASL to LSQ during the French parts.

A Question, what are shouting the crowd? When he sings .. and the rockets red glare... red?

Why does he sing the last 4 verses in English? I thought that he was supposed to sing this song in French.

I wish they actually got a native French speaker to sing it. 😒 but he still did an awesome job
