As a medically discharged veteran Airborne Ranger, baptized in fire in Afghanistan, I have horrible PTSD made worse by bi-polar and a regular struggle with substances, this song should be heard by the masses. Mad fucking respect to Tom.
EDIT: I am deeply and truly humbled and my heart is warm from the outcry of support. From other brave veterans, to every other person. When I saw my comment blew up I completely teared up. You have all made this proud, sad, and breaking patriot, absolutely happy and humbled. Every single one of you has my absolute, and complete respect and deepest thanks. And for your words, we are all equals in my mind. I may be a "big bad" Airborne Ranger but I am only just a man who did his job exactly as I was trained.
