"I'm almost 60 years old, I'm fat and I'm bald, I don't give a crap."
😅🤣😂
Dude! You're my new hero.
I went there 2 years ago. Got a full denture replacement, top & bottom.
This year, that $2000 set has broken twice and they claimed it would take 4 weeks to repair.
I kinda freaked. I don't want to go 4 weeks looking toothless.
I finally got them fixed at Aspen, no charge, next day and decided to have a basic set made. They were offering 50% off through 7/25/21. Well hell yeah!!! I signed up. I got my basic, replacement set in four weeks (just in case my pricey ones break again). Preparing to leave, they tried to charge me $2K again. I told them no, this was a basic set which are Advertised on their site for a little over $1000.00 She said okay, that'll be $1500.00. No, the price is $1000.00 and I have a coupon for 50% off. Reluctantly she said okay and asked me to email her the coupon for proof. I did. I left. Exactly one week later, I received a bill $1500 ADDITIONAL.
I swear these people are CRAZY! They haven't got a clue!!!!
Oh....btw, they ain't getting the $1500
😅🤣😂🤡🌎

I dated a girl who worked for aspen dental and the employee handbook was like something written out of Satan's black book 😆 it even has a part in it about upselling patient needs and that they should "bleed aspen blue" which is exactly how it's written. I finally had the pleasure of going in for an evaluation one day and needed a tooth in the back pulled. They tried to swing it to 3 teeth and by the time I was in the office for financing the price was astronomical around 15k. I asked for an itemized list of procedures they planned and sure enough, they had EVERYTHING extra they could squeeze in plus the icing on the cake was a $500 Rembrandt water pick something toothbrush and I got so upset I walked out. They're con artists. Good for you for smelling the stink of their rub!

I’m a dentist and unfortunately it is rare to find an honest dentist in corporate dentistry. Many dentists are corrupted by regional managers hounding them to produce “x” amount per day and others are just born crooked.

I am a predental student and I’m sorry but the way you told this story was hilarious. I love this video because it’s funny and the message is important.
AVOID corporate dentistry at all costs because corporate dentistry DOES NOT CARE about your oral health. That’s why they literally spend about 15 minutes cleaning your teeth whereas a legit dental office will take 50. They just want you in and out, and your wallet emptied in between!
Make sure no matter where you go for your dentist it’s not a corporate.

Finance Manager: "Oh, you just came in for a cleaning? Well, ok, we'll just clean your pockets as well."

Literally had the same experience today, except I have absolute perfect teeth. No cavities ever, no issues ever with any other dentist. The tried to charge me $632 for a cleaning. Everything this man says is spot on!

I'm glad I clicked on this because I was getting ready to go to a appointment in the morning. I'm cancelling

I literally just walked out of an Aspen dental this morning for this conversation almost verbatim. I had an appointment for a cleaning and they were like “Well you have three appointments this morning.” Some special in depth cleaning for periodontal disease, which I do not have. Their finance person sat me down and gave me a $7, 822 quote for all this bullsh*t that I didn’t need and didn’t ask for, including $35 mouthwash, $35 toothpaste and a $200 toothbrush.

Yep - exactly what happened to me in Champaign, IL. I've begun reporting them. I emailed the local news station, next - the Attorney General, the DPFR, the Dental Board, etc etc.

I went in for a teeth cleaning after having a years worth of work done. She opened up several of the places the other guy had just fixed 2 months earlier by going at then like a jackhammer and now I have to go somewhere else to get them refilled because I'm never going there again. Also told me i need a root canal for no reason. It wasn't Aspen but it still sucks. I believe that most dentists are con artists. Much love.

Oh they are a joy, aren't they? Last year I had to have a tooth pulled, and got sucked into one of their "special new patient rates" things. The extraction went well. Then the phone calls started. "Are you ready for your new crown" she asks. I'm like...what? Oh you signed a "treatment plan" and the crown is next on the list. She was suggesting that because we had a "plan" that I was obligated to come spend money I didn't have for a crown I didn't need. I gently informed her what she and Aspen could do with the plan--haven't been back since. Welcome to the club, my brother, you've been "Aspened".

Aspen is just a money first, patient last operation. I have insurance that pays for two cleanings/x-rays per year. I just wanted them to do the cleaning/x-rays. They refused to do a cleaning without also doing a "periodontal treatment" which my insurance won't pay for. Each treatment is $90+ dollars. I told them I won't be back.

I went in today for initial X-rays and exam etc. After checking out, I was told both me and the wife need an “advanced” cleaning due to gingivitis! Have never had an issue and we have never missed cleanings. Bill was going to be $500! Told them to shove it and found a new dentist.

I wish we'd seen these reviews sooner. My family member just got scammed out of about $2000.00 by Aspen Dental. Shes still in pain from bad work, and the guy drilling in her mouth knew she wasn't numbed and kept going. They told her they would refuse to give her the permanent crowns, after she's already paid, unless she paid an extra like $160 something that was never mentioned. Now she has to go to another dentist. When I searched them, I saw endless complaints similar to hers. How are they still operating???

Thanks for sharing your story. It’s important that people know about these corporate-owned dental clinic scams.

This happened to me today exactly word for word how you described it. I just wanted a teeth cleaning but they required X-Rays and a full gum and teeth examination before that could be done. They told me I had Parodontal disease and I needed 2 crowns. I did agree with them that I needed two crowns and I was ok with that because I was aware before going in. When I met with the young lady for consultation she told me I was looking at $7000 for all of the procedures that I needed. My jaw dropped. Then I asked her how much just for a cleaning and some antibiotic they were gonna use to treat my gum issue and she said that alone would be $3000. In my opinion this is fraud. I couldn’t leave fast enough

It's a sad truth today that people we once trusted to help us, especially health care "professionals " are scamming too. I have run into this with dentists, chiropractors and md's. There seems to be no accountability for these people.

I'm so sorry for your experience and I can certainly relate! Unfortunately I fell for the scam and I'm still paying for it today. AND I couldn't even use my partials. Their work was displeasing to say the least and the most unprofessional bunch I have ever dealt with! Do your research and don't be so quick to jump the gun just because you are unsatisfied with your smile. They treat you like cattle pulling you in and pushing you out like a revolving door.
