The HD Collection has some texture issues and a glitch here or there, but overall the trophies give this amazing replay value over what they already include in the games. These are all amazing.

I have all the ratchet and clank games, and I bought them in order. I remember playing the third game in grade 1 I think so I guess I was playing the first two when I was really young! But I really remember this one girl in my grade 1 class named courtney and me and my friend always called her courtney gears like from up your arsenal. Ya we were obsessed with ratchet and clank.

One of the few game series out there that has characters worth caring about.

Seriously, I was really impressed just how smoothly animated and emotional some of the characters were in Into the Nexus. It doesn't hurt it's all complimented by rock-solid voice acting.

Seriously, this series still oozes quality and should NOT disappear. Yeah, All 4 One was a misstep but these characters are capable of carrying great stories and gameplay. It's still a great franchise.

R&C was ahead of its time.

It was one of the first series to introduce the concept of a trophy/achievement system with it's own "skill point" system. And that was back in 2002 before it became a mainstay on the 360 and ps3.

I played the first Ratchet and Clank game on the PS2 and it was awesome.
Now all i need is the HD collection to be released on PC and i will be very happy indeed.

The skill point system was first implemented in spyro 2.
I talked to a former insomniac developer and he stated that skill points derived from Q.A. testers that would play the game with insane handicaps to see if it was possible to complete these tasks with those handicaps, Those handicaps are what became the skill points in the ratchet games.

Insomniac also made the first three Spyro games, Mark. And as for the quality difference between a properly connected PS2 (over component) and this HD version, it's not that huge honestly. They just cleaned up the textures a tad and added some better filtering.
