Super Punch-Out, though...I absolutely mastered that game back in the day. Still one of my favorite games of all time.

I'm not even sure Mark knows you can earn "stars" from timing your punches just right and use those stars with the select button for a special, more powerful super punch!

Actually, it carries the name "Mike Tyson's Punch Out" in Japan as well. The whole game is actually in English and comes with and English to Japanese dictionary so that Japanese players could know what the hell was being said in the game.

remember when mark was fighting piston honda, when he starts doing those punches, you can get one or 2 hits in during those by blocking the first punch then hitting him, block then hit him again and again till it's done.

Gabby Jay lost to him. That is the "Glass Joe" of Super Punch out of the SNES. He had the same record, so I guess Glass Joe lost the rematch.

I watched Dan Ryckert fail at beating Tyson for 3 hours and didn't get bored once. And I did the same with friends back in the day. The original esports viewing experience!

This is honestly my favorite game of all time. I spent a very very long time trying to beat Mike Tyson. By the time I was about 12 I could easily go through the other characters but it took me until I was 19 to finally take down Iron Mike. Its still one of the biggest gaming accomplishments in my life.
