Just noticed something... Insomniac made Spyro, and Naughty Dog made Crash for the PS1... And for the PS2, both of them created a duo. On PS2, 2 new characters. Tbh it's awesome (and kind of funny) !

I bought this yesterday, I was reluctant since I still have the original versions, but I'm loving playing these games in HD. I'm playing them in order and am currently on the first one. Planning on getting 100% completion for all 3 like I did on the originals.

A copy of this collection brand new is about $20-$25 on amazon.
I bought 2 copies one for myself and one for CGR. I have been a mega fan of these games since the first one came out and i have sent them to the show along with a few other games and a bender action figure.

Deadlocked is one of those games that people forget until you pull it out from under your bed and play the hell out of it. Deadlocked made when wana go out and buy the collection. Im an idiot and gave the games to my ex girlfriends little brother and never ended up getting them back so im glad sony did this. Brings back so many good memory's =]

Maybe low budget was the wrong word. But Insomniac only made it to test a new type of gameplay and I am sure they will continue to do that in the future

Never tried any of these back during the PS2 glory days, I am a big fan of Jak and Daxter though.
I bought going commando a while back, but I couldn't really get into it.
Although I would like to try the first one and crack in time, they look pretty good.

preferences I guess. I never played R&C (except for demos) and I guess it depends on what mood I am on, and I never heard of it's framerate issues do you know by any chance if these issues existed on the PS2 versions?

I wish they included Deadlocked/Gladiator (name change dependant upon which side of the pond you're on) in this collection.

I have played both of them too and i'm not quickly influenced by nostalgia. The central hub in FFA/QF is much smaller and has much less things to do in it, no arcade cabinet, no VR chamber, no vendors, only 3 NPCs. The multiplayer has much less skins and maps. Animation quality has gone down, being much more spastic. Movement in the game feels much more slow forcing you to use the hoverboots. The pacing is all over the place. Of course it's still your opinion but those were the issues i found.

underrated by most fans in my opinion, and just to much bad commentating on it just because it wasnt the original formula. In my opinion it was a GREAT spin off and loved it.

These 3 games were legit my childhood, especially the 1st and 3rd one. Going Commando was a little too hard for me as a kid.

UYA is the best one of all, such a fantastically well done game.

I hope they are released on the PS4 never got a PS3 and i really want to reply these amazing games from my childhood.
