People in here clearly decided they weren’t going to take in any of the video before they even listened. The point is, the burning sensation is not an indication that your biceps are burnt out therefore your lats aren’t going to get the stimulus required. The point is that your lats are or whatever other muscle group, is still getting the required stimulus despite the fact that you will feel a burn more in your biceps due to the amount of sensory nerves in there, so it provides that illusion that your biceps are a weak point. People love the squats for glutes but you don’t feel it as much in the glutes compared to the quads, etc. If you get a tattoo on your forearm and your collar bone, do you say “oh the tattoo is going to fade on my forearm compared to the tattoo on my collar bone, because I felt it more when I got the collar bone done” no, you’ll just say one hurt more than the other.

Arthy Jones was the first guy to point that about the weak link, he'd ran a kind of experiment of several athletes doing pull downs and then verify de DOMS. Jones found that most of them had doms on the zone of the biceps muscle, but almost nothing of pain in the back. The beginning of the pullover machine started after that

That's why Mike told us to do isolation first for the major muscle then superset with compound, this way the major muscle will surely get fatigued along with the minor muscle.

Where did mike said that? He stated the best bicep excercise is reverse close grip pull downs superseted after barbell and or machine curl. Mind to muscle

So… you feel you can’t push them as hard and therefore have to stop lifting because of the bicep more than other muscles. Sounds like a weak link. Doesn’t have to be physical weakness to be the muscle that holds back the lift

I think hes saying that they fatigue faster than your back muscles so they make it difficult if that makes sense

Jay, we love you, but please don’t knock Mike Mentzer no you or anybody else within the hit industry Mike was the giant and got everybody to listen on the high intensity, subject most of what you saying anyway, he updated later in his life as he was one of the few people who was able to change is thinking on anything that made scientific sense
