Brilliantly researched, didn't realise Marty's family built their house 3 years after the movie was made, what a plot twist?
I really enjoyed your passionate and sincere delivery, makes me want to go and watch Stand By My!

5:38 - You forgot the Goonies House in Astoria Oregon. It’s still there and live in by old grumps that won’t let you even go up the driveway anymore to see it!
Also 1180 Pacific Drive isn’t the beach, it’s a the Wayfarer Restaurant.

I live near Cado Lake in NE Texas. A bunch of movies have been filmed there. Some sets still stand.

The filming location of "Giant" in Marfa, Texas. All that is left of the original "house" (really, just a facade) is a shell. But it still stands, after 70 years. A remembrance of one of the best films ever made.

I live 20 minutes from Greensboro NC. I got a part as an extra and was in the war scene in Hellraiser 3. Terri Ferrell was a sweetheart to the extras. Being mostly filmed in Greensboro, watching the movie is fun knowing where all the scenes were shot.
