I'm afraid America has all but forgotten. I am the youngest son of a Normandy landing veteran, and I've noticed that as we've lost my dad's generation who are all but gone now, we have lost the critical connection with the American spirit that made us and kept us free.

My heart breaks when I see these pictures knowing that our country will never be what it was, and the rest of the world is laughing at what we've become.
