As a tire tech I appreciate the humor. And I even more appreciate that you gave legit advice while making a funny video.

“God grant me the serenity to accept the kid I cannot change.” Is a great line, mostly because serenity is in the phrase

My Midwestern Dad gave me a beat up 76 Buick Regal. It was a tank for a 16 year old 5'2 girl. Before he let me drive off with it, I had to learn how to check all the necessary fluids and pressure. Then he had me change a tire twice and to finish I had to change the oil. He was a great Dad. Thirty two years later I can still do all of it on my own.

As a former mechanic I am EXTREMELY elated you actually gave proper tire inflation information! Always go by the door panel NEVER the sidewall! Great video every kid should be shown this in school!

"For the amount of times I hear you say 'no cap' you should know that." LOL!

I'm a girl. When I was 16 in 1986, my Dad made me practice changing the tire on my first car in case I got a flat at night alone. I had to practice in the driveway and he timed me! 😂I was the only girl in my neighborhood who could go from sitting in the car, to changing a tire, and being back behind the wheel in under 15 minutes!

“You fill it to the max and your tire goes blast” 😂 wise words

As a Kwik Trip employee, I can confirm this is a weekly occurrence in our parking lots.😂 100% accurate!

My dad wasn't perfect, but he was my hero. When I got my first car, he taught me how to change a tyre and basic car maintenance. When I was 23 and on my way to a nightclub, I got a flat on the motorway. I got everyone out and over the barrier. Got a friend to hold a torch, and I put a hazzard triangle out. I got that new tyre on so fast that my friends didn't think I had got the tyre off, whilst wearing platforms and jumping on the tyre arm. I got everyone back in and was driving away, when the breakdown truck came up behind and waved us away. In the UK they monitor the motorways and send out breakdown lorries asap - and it costs serious money! Loved my dad so much, miss him every day! ❤

I have a Hispanic father turned midwesterner, literally just give this a Venezuelan accent and it’s the exact same image. I’m so happy it’s a universal experience

'The air's on me.' 'The air's free dad.' 'You're welcome!' 😂 ❤

"The air is on me" is the most dad thing to say😂 It's to trick you into not asking him for help with the tickets

As a current tire tech, and a Wisconsinite, this is actually perfect advice. An additional note if anyone sees this: some places use nitrogen gas to fill tires instead of air (Costco, for example). It’s recommended not to mix regular air with nitrogen gases for tire stability reasons.

I always appreciate a skit that actually teaches people.

People have good fathers. Appreciate them, those who have them 👍

Walking to get a drink while reciting the serenity prayer is wild 😂

But the dads are so kind to anyone else who needs help! I was driving home from Minnesota in January once and needed air. A dad saw me struggle because it was freezing and I didn’t have gloves. Absolutely insisted I get back in my car so he could put the air in. I had asked the gas station attendant for a gage and so he was out there too, making sure I was okay. Wisconsin dad wouldn’t let me buy him a coffee or a beer to thank him, just made me promise I’d fill my tires before I took a road trip and that I’d keep gloves in my car.
