I'm so disappointed in Prismas now. The color is beautiful, but the sharpener (I have that same hand sharpener they make for them) eats them up. They break, they crack, I really don't like them. Got them at Blick, so they aren't counterfeit. Maybe should call prisma directly. It's not Blicks fault.

It's all in how you sharpen them . get a metal hand held sharpener and turn the pencil, not the sharpener . also if your box gas been dropped or handled roughly you might want to warm them up in the oven, then let them cool, just enough to soften the wax and let it heal .
