2024 Volvo EX30 Review | We're OBSESSED with one particular aspect of this vehicle!!

The Volvo EX30 isn’t the cheapest nor the most innovative compact EV on the market, but it certainly is one of the most elegant, as our resident style-meister Nadine Armstrong found out.

With a number of practical and premium features inside the cabin it exhibits plenty of Swedish flair, particularly the form-fitting seats.

Not everyone will love the single central screen that takes a leaf out of the Tesla playbook, but it works well and you get used to it after a while.

And then there’s the dual-motor setup that allows it to accelerate like a weightless photon. Fast? And then some. This is pretty cool!

I test drove this same model and loved it, except it needs a bit bigger boot

340km of real world range feels low, particularly when the tester doesn’t appear to have gone on the highway. This could mean a real world highway range less than 300km.
If you only use the EX30 in town or have access to something longer range, that’s fine. As the only car, that’s a major drawback for me.

How can Volvo - the inventor of safety belts, the champion of safety design, forgot about the instrumentation in front of the driver? I am so interested in this vehicle, but this lack of driver focused information is too much compromise for me.
