You could totally do sequels to this covering more mysteries from the show, there definitely isn't a shortage of interesting ones.

Those doctors also did an amazing job. Rewarmed her nice and slowly, that would have been a huge factor helping a lot. All around a miracle .

The woman in the road mystery reminds me of the story of the woman and baby who's car flipped into a stream. People reported hearing a woman yelling for help but once emergency services arrived they realized the woman had been dead for sometime but the baby was still alive. Nobody can explain the yells for help and some believe that it was her spirit helping to save her child

My cousin was kidnapped when she was a young girl. It was only after she appeared on Unsolved Mysteries did tips flood in and she was found. Thankful as hell this show is popular

Jean is possibly the most incredible survival story ive ever heard that calling it a miracle would be a huge understatement

Robert Stack was born to host Unsolved Mysteries. If he was alive today, I’d like to think that he’d have a podcast covering true crime cases or revisiting cases aired on Unsolved Mysteries

Shoutout to the OG Robert Stack. That voice is legendary. Only host Unsolved Mysteries needed back in the day

Here is another theory for the women in the road case. What if Christine also saw the naked women and swerved to avoid hitting her then ran off the road, rather than falling asleep at the wheel like suspected. It could have been a trap, or it could have been a crazy women... or maybe someone who escaped a bad situation and was hoping a car would stop to help but was captured again after. 🤔

It's been 20 years since Robert Stack died (May 14, 2003) and some cases have been solved, while many others still remain unsolved

The woman in the road story makes me think Deborah's intuition was correct. They didn't stop because they believed there were guys waiting to ambush them, and we know that kinda thing happens in real life. It doesn’t seem too fetched to me to think that maybe some sick individuals saw the crash, and pretended to be dead on the side of the road in order to ambush some good samaritans, but when the plan backfired, it drew attention to that very same area and the actual crash. It would explain why the body was different and disappeared. Feels more plausible than her ghost at least.

I grew up watching Unsolved Mysteries with my dad and it scared me SO BAD but it lead to a fascination in horror, the paranormal, and true crime. It was such an amazing show to witness with Robert Stack as the host in the 80's-90's.

The last story has stuck with me for years. What she said about the experience is even more haunting and realistic. The human body is an organism that at the cellular level and like all other animals; will fight to survive. Some of us have bodies that are successful and will make it through, while sadly the rest of us don’t. This story and the one with the athlete that literally broke her skeleton in two from a fall, are remarkable. The athlete survived for days by doing ab crunches!! No lights or angels or paranormal help. Just being strong AF, saved both these ladies lives

I think it’s likely he went to prison for an unrelated crime for some time. No chance he could stop or control his urges on his own without being locked up.

The frozen girl story is just one of those cases where you really gotta hand it to the doctors because if they'd panicked and rushed to warm her up, they'd probably have damaged the frozen tissues due to rapid thawing of the ice crystals. Severe hypothermia and frostbite requires incredibly delicate and precise temperature control to save tissue that is only frozen and not yet dead. Just being in room temperature too quickly can often be enough to damage the tissue beyond repair

That third story is amazing. How she was able to survive being frozen solid I'll never know.

As a kid i remember watching reruns of this instead of sleeping. One segment on the Disappearance of Patrica Meehan had the most eerie shot of a woman just standing in a field, only light being that of the moon as she just turned around and walked away. Whoever directed that scared me for life lmao

I’m not trying to be dramatic, but I couldn’t place why I was feeling so wigged out by the I-70 killer. I then realized it’s because the composite sketch looks exactly like my birth father, who is around 5’9 and was 23 in 1992. He also worked out of town and lived less than two hours from the first killing. I texted my mom the picture without context asking if it meant anything to her and she responded it doesn’t but it looks exactly like “birth fathers name.”😳😳

Imagine being so unlucky that you freeze into a human icicle just 15 meters before your savior's house. But being so lucky that you literally survive being frozen for a whole night. How poetic.

Sometimes your B-ROLL has a real "surrealist horror bowling alley" vibe, and I love it.
