GREYSON'S JOURNEY: BECOMING A BOARD MEMBER OF KULTURE CITY

Hey everyone - welcome back! Recently, I joined the board of Kulture City. This organization is near and dear to my heart because they are dedicated to helping individuals with sensory issues, like my son Greyson.

I think that they should have a sensory room in amusement parks and malls. My son is 15 yrs old and his is high on the autism spectrum. So when he gets upset or overwhelmed I give him a book, blow bubbles for him, or let him look at a glass of water. And he calms down. I think that it’s amazing that your doing this and I wish you but success Jenny. Love ya💕💕

I'm proud that you're shedding light on this. When my younger brother was younger he had a sensory issue. He's gotten much better as he's gotten older but his Sickle Cell Anemia is keeping him down but it does get a bit better. Much love Ms. Jenni. Love you and your channel. Hey Jenni, my son has autism we live in muskoka Ontario and our government has just changed ALL the resources for all children on the spectrum and we are all completely lost... My son is 5years old and got diagnosed at 26 months. I do not have social media I have wanted to reach out to you since grayson was diagnosed... You are a strong BEAUTIFUL woman and amazing mother. I have been fighting and advocating for my son and all the other children on the spectrum here in Ontario, for the last few months. I feel like I'm getting no where but I will not give up!!!!

Omg!! My nephew has a sensory disorder!! He got diagnosed in kindergarten! But he acted out, sreamed, cried, threw tantrums, held is ears..etc.he didnt even like how the desks at school felt! And u know to my sister (his mom), and my. Brother n law, mom, dad, and myself we all thought he was just being bad!! But he wasnt! He had a sensory disorder the whole time! So after my sister finally got a diagnosis, she could finally get the help he needed! This is awesome!!!! So glad u have partnered with this organization!!!

My son is autistic and I applaud you for going above and beyond for your baby! I know and understand it’s a journey and man is it hard but hearing and seeing what your doing. Makes it easier to deal with. Your awesome!

I think it would be great to do them in schools like the auditorium. My son hates loud noises but wants to enjoy himself when they have thing's going on at the school but can't. Im a mom of a amazing 5 year old with asd, spd, adhd, im so incredibly grateful for what you are doing! Your changing the world to accept acknowlege, advocating and giving our kids a future. Without these sensory rooms and spreading awareness they will get to experience teaveling and events they might otherwise not have been able to do . Now if we can just get the airlines to understand and educate their employees that our kids might have a hard time when flying and how to help! Sensory bags are a fabulous start. Thanks Jenni!

Thank you for using your platform for such a great cause. My daughter has sensory processing disorder. She loves being outdoors. It breaks my heart that she can't experience all that life has to offer because certain noises really bother her. A few of the places I would love to see a sensory room or bag would be amusement parks, baseball stadiums, and anywhere else a kid should be able to enjoy without feeling stressed. Thank goodness for parents like you! You were given these sweet babies because you will fight to the end for them and are exactly what they need. Thank you for bringing light to these “issues”. This needs to be world wide, why am I only hearing about this makes so much sense when you do see that odd little one like that and wounded what was the matter all the time, they just need that little quiet space to breath and be them selfs.
