This woman had a being who apparently tried to talk her out of returning to an abusive situation, or wanted to be sure *she* was sure. Years ago, I read an account told by a woman who'd had an NDE as a child. She was injured, left her body, didn't want to go back as she was unloved and being abused by her mother, and the being she encountered was remarkably unsympathetic. It didn't care and it forced her to return.

I don't disbelieve in the existence of these experiences. What bothers me is that not everyone has a positive experience, and the beings one encounters in NDEs, or through the use of psychedelic substances, etc. appear not to be universally benevolent, and those who've had positive experiences, and/or present this material to the public, don't want to acknowledge it - or if they do, there's always a rationalization: "Well, it was obviously what you needed at the time", or some such nonsense.
