I like how Roth declines the slice of cake that was given to him, asking for a "smaller piece." Symbolic gesture he performs amongst his business associates to demonstrate that he's not a greedy person, and he has the sense to humble himself to take less of the proverbial "slice of the pie" if he feels he doesn't deserve it, so that others may take his share. Brilliant.

I can already imagine the tension between Brando and Strasberg. If they did a scene between those two that would of been a great piece of method acting especially since Brando didn’t believe Strasberg to be a great teacher of the technique.

I jus realized Hyman Roth speaks of his will and states the names of the people who will inherit and run his casinos / hotels. He also mentions the names of his friends except his friends in Nevada. Moe Greene was said to be the creator of Las Vegas so he would’ve been Top dog whether legitimate or corrupt so Hyman definitely would be talking about him as his friend in Nevada but doesn’t say his name tho we find out later he knows of him very well and knows how he was scratched off as well. He definitely felt Michael ordered the hit because all the heads of the other crime families also were offed except the corleone family so it wouldn’t be that difficult to see who ordered that massacre just as easy as it would be for Michael to notice Hyman not mention Moe Greene but know him and how he died. I’m sure that’s why Michael looks at Hyman when he says his friends in Nevada will get a piece of the action !!!!
