2024 Ford Mustang GT Review

Показать описание

The 2024 Ford Mustang GT represents the enduring legacy of muscle cars, standing as the last in its class with the discontinuation of the Camaro and Challenger. Ford refers to it as the 7th generation Mustang, though it more closely resembles a 6.5 generation model given its shared underpinnings and engines from its predecessor. Notwithstanding, it showcases vital improvements where necessary. Retaining the classic Mustang traits, it introduces some subtle differences, signifying a distinct identity yet unmistakably a Mustang.

“Please go for the V8, it’s the only right answer.” 😂 Love it…

I ordered a Mustang Dark Horse in ember blue metallic, with the performance package. I look forward to adding K&N cold air intakes, a Whipple, and maybe Borla exhaust.

Very excited for this car! Have been a life long Mustang guy, and my dad has been a life long Dodge guy, and the both of us are very excited for this car to arrive!

I was tempted to get the ecoboost, because as you mentioned, 300hp out of the 4 cylinder is more than the v8 mustangs were producing 20 years ago. But the sound and the lack of a manual pulled me back into my senses and I ordered the V8.

Great legendary car. I hope it will be in a production for awhile. What other options do we have nowadays? BMW M5 for $90k or Corvette for $110? 😊

Ford nailed it. Except for mpg. My BMW 430i gets excellent mileage in the same weight car with a smaller engine! There's no excuse for less than 24/33 in any car these days - and my BMW routinely gets 36 hwy.

That is a good looking convertible for sure.

All I see is Darth Vader's helmet with the air vents and below.

No excuse for display lag. I love Mustangs and I have a soft spot for Ford but they really need to iron that out.

PSA: Please do not use your handbrake to "drift". It is a fundamentally incorrect way to handle a car. Not only is it unsafe, it is unpredictable and impossible to control. Please practice your "drifting" by gently bringing on the power until the car starts to slip, and dialing in steering gradually. It is a finesse sport, not a strength sport. There is no brute forcing proper technique.

It looks nothing like a Camaro. Although it does look a lot like a 1971 Mach 1 mustang which actually had bigger side haunches in the rear.

I detest loud cars. Especially if I'm driving.

The interior door panels are identical to the old one, same with the center console and the seats look very similar too. I expected more
