Lmao imagine if strangers started to sniff you. I think I will say "wtf" and hope they understand what's wrong.

"Do you ever talk?!?"
I would've yelled "do you ever shut up?!" back

I am a shy guy. By far my worst experience was, when, out of the blue, an Italian plumber in red jumped on my head and presumably killed me.

For shy people: When you're a kid, you are in a group and try to say an intresting fact that almost nobody knows about. You say it, bur everyone starts to laugh at you because they think you're not correct and you have talking issues for the rest of your life. Basically the story of your life

The sheer amount of times I've been asked if I talk is too many 💀

Being shy basically makes me invisible. None of my classmates who aren't in my friend group talk to me unless we have to do a project and sometimes when I come back from missing a couple days I'm still marked absent until the teacher realizes I'm back it's honestly hilarious 😂

The first one brought back a buried memory. There used to be one girl who I knew at my school (an acquaintance but probably not close enough to be a friend) who would sniff me before exams for good luck. I mean it worked for her and I never had the confidence to say no

Friend had first day of new school on Monday. Every person was greeted by band, cheerleaders, and singers.

Not only shy but social anixety.

Actually happened yesterday; i was hanging out with a friend and they suggested to hang out with their other friends which i didnt know. I didnt really have a choice because i didnt wanna disappoint them and they also didnt really ask me first. I told them that i was super scared, they didnt take it that seriously though. He also tried to tell me to come closer but i was really scared so i only got closer by, like, a step or something. When we started walking, i felt even more scared and started hyperventilating, shaking and almost crying. They noticed and tried to comfort me, but also tried to get me closer to the others (i think) which i really didn’t want. I cant remember how many people there were but i think it was 5 (+ my friend). One of them actually started talking to me because they realized that i was about to cry. Now i feel really bad because i made them worry ect. and i literally hate myself for it.

"Do you ever talk?"
"Only around interesting people which is why you've never heard anything"

Got dragged off to an event I didn't want to go to and that I didn't have to go to. Then got put on blast by the group that dragged me along for killing the mood and being selfish and wanting all the attention at the event. They literally stopped the event to put me on blast in front of everyone there. I walked out of there trying not to cry and never spoke to those friends again. They tried to apologize but I told them they can go and shove it because again, they're the one's who tried to embarrass me in front of almost 200 people

I was at a family friend party with my brother and parents, and I didn't have time for lunch so I was eating more than I usually did. Note I was pretty young at the time and I usually eat more than normal at parties because they're special occasions that don't happen often. So I'm bringing down my lunch to where the other kids at the party were, and there was this one kid. He was in 5th grade, but he looks like a 7 year old. He barely eats. At parties the most I've seen him eat is plain rice. Midget kid, barely eats looks at my dinner plate and asks "why do you eat so much? Even your brother says you have a problem" the last bit was a misunderstanding of my brother reminding me to save room for dinner/ dessert earlier that party, but I was really insecure about my weight and eating habits and still am (though looking back i was in good shape). The next party I went to something weird happened. I usually feel really happy at parties but I started to feel really nervous and stressed and barely ate, and this continued for months. That kid hurt me more than he realized.

My younger cousin asked me "hey why are you so quite?" And i answered "Because i don't want to be annoying, like you."

Being told it was just me throwing a hissy fit then thrown into a presentation in front of the whole classroom. Mind you that i rarely even made a noise, much less throw tantrums. I stuttered so much under the pressure of their view that the teacher eventually gave up and let me be. Since that i can't feel comfortable doing presentations or even being near people.

My art teacher picked random kids to sing solos in front of the whole class as an ice breaker. This girl got picked stood up and said very confidently sorry the song is too sexual. That was the end of that ice breaker.

For me, it’s when I tried to do something nice for someone, but I had to get her attention so I could ask her the question. She then noticed my hand, and pulled her arm away, and her friend got involved asking me what I wanted. This was when I panicked, and started to try to formulate a sentence, and ask anyway, but failed miserably at it. And after that, I was like “never again”.
