For the next time you "update" a list, it would be cool to see the rank changes. Not only show the new rank but also the old one. That would also allow viewers to see which states are improving a lot

I've lived in several states now, and their rankings are honestly not surprising. I lived the longest time in New Mexico, but I'm living in Utah currently. The differences are absolutely shocking. Let's just say I'm starting my own family in Utah for many reasons, even though some of my family and friends are still in New Mexico...

You know, I've lived in Michigan (#42) and Utah (#2), and they're not that different. My point is that if you're moving to anywhere in the US, it's not like a third-world country in one state and first-world in another state. The differences are slighter than people like to pretend.

I moved out of Washington State four years ago because Seattle has become overrun with lunatics on the city council and vagrants on the streets. The housing prices have become outrageous too. The oppressive clouds and constant rain are depressing as well.

As someone who was born and raised in WA, I’m surprised it’s #1, it’s nice here but it isn’t that far off from being ridiculously expensive like California. It’s definitely a challenge for the younger adults to get something established on their own here. Also crime has been on the rise in certain areas. Not a bad list though.

NY: “They got jobs, they got good people”

The only time New York has been peaceful for 1 day was in 2012.

Enjoyed this one quite a bit. In numerous videos you talk about how one or two cities can pull a whole state down. Would you please do a video about how, in the same state, two cities can be at opposite ends of the suckage scale? In this one you mentioned Grand Rapids and Detroit, but I am sure there are plenty others.

Kinda impressed my home state of Wisconsin was ranked so high, but you really hit the nail on the head with the state not having any major downfalls. The towns along the Michigan coast (minus admittedly Milwaukee) are an awesome place to move to right now, and the Mississippi River area has always been great.

From Washington, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it topped the list! I love it’s temperate climate and beautiful nature!

Listening to this in early 2022, as a lifelong washingtonian, I greatly value the statistics and reports on your channel. That being said, the only other states I could ever imagine moving to thanks to your channel are maine, but also Montana or idaho. As someone who absolutely adores the chilliness and the temperamental but beautiful change in seasons, the Pacific northwest, even the lesser known treasure of Eastern Washington certainly have more than their market share of natural beauty combined with decent infrastructure, good history, and a generally friendly and welcoming population! I've been to many other states but I've never found one that is truly as all around satisfying as Washington. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful work, it is much appreciated!

As an "over the road" trucker, covering every state but Alaska and Hawaii, I've seen some truly remarkable and amazing things.

From the Atlantic to the Pacific, from the Great Lakes to the Mexican border and just about everything in between.

I don't think a lot of Americans realize just how expansive, grand and beautiful this country really is.
From the laid back, cool beaches to the majesty of the mountains. From the natural beauty of forests to the calmness of waterfalls, rivers, lakes and streams.

Personally, in my opinion,
driving Route 12 from Mt Saint Helen's to Yakima Washington, is the most beautiful place I've ever seen in America.
I was blown away, it's stunning.
Knocked Tennessee to #2 on my list of most beautiful states.

Each state truly has something remarkable to bring to the table.
Even my home state of New Jersey is beautiful.
And if you disagree, you'll make great fertilizer, I'll bury your ass in the Pinelands.

I'm so sorry you're going through this 😔

I love your videos, they have been so insightful, and have helped me understand everything thst goes into some people's appearance and you always do it with the upmost respect 🥰

You're such a doll, and I love how you bring things to light when celebrities attempt to live in denial.

As a North Carolinian, I agree. The state is always near the top 10, but never quite in it. Although, this may change in the years to come, as more people are moving in, and the metros still have yet to branch out.

Have you ever considered including US territories on lists like these? It would be pretty interesting to see

I grew up in Washington and have lived the last six years in Utah. I've also lived in and visited pretty much every other state and I have to say Utah and Washington certainly deserve their top place on this list.
