You're hitting core issues here, and bravo for doing so. I came here looking for help with singing R's. They plague me. I also love them in original music (and I'm a Thank you for reminding me that I have to teach myself everything if I expect to really learn it, and listen and focus. Duh. I will get back to solving this problem once and for all.

Yes YES. That's exactly how my groups have rehearsed for 30 years. Focus on the segment of the song that needs polishing and do it over 20 times if neccessary. Not full voice of course.

The problem is, by the time you completely learn a piece, you are so sick of it, you never want to hear it again!

Such great advice!! Literally RIGHT before I watched this vid, I watched another vid that said to just sing 10-15 songs in one go after you warm up to practice singing better and you’re saying the opposite 😂
