A common face pull mistake is making it into a clavicle pull. This shifts the tension away from your rotator cuff to your rear delts. If you want to target your external rotator cuffs and bulletproof your shoulders make sure that you pull the ropes towards your nose.

I think most people do face pulls for the rear delts.

I mean, people actually training their rear delts is very rare, and seeing someone train their rotator cuff is like one in a million.

The problem with learning bodybuilding on internet is that no matter what you do, someone on YT or Instagram will have a video saying you're doing it 100% wrong or that you shouldn't do this or that exercise, then other person will say just the opposite. There are so many "experts" contradicting themselves that is actually very hard to be sure of anything.

After 6 month doing this.. yesterday i got compliment from stranger thats my shoulder are big good looking by rear delts :) many people either don't do it or do it wrong and usually with too heavy a weight instead of an adjusted one

During therapy my therapist kept reminding me, after trying it outside of therapy 7 months later it is so clear why! I feel the burn and it hurts soo good

Notice how he uses two ropes instead one when he performs the reps properly… underrated element for this exercise to be performed correctly.

I would say that there’s different ways to do a face pull and these variations preferentially target certain areas. It doesn’t mean that some are better than others, just different

Rear delts do external rotation as well. It’s all the same shit it’s just a matter of back engagement

He means with external rotation for teres minor. Regular face pull is posterior delt
