His playing showcases the versatility of his playing but also matches up well showcasing the guitar. It always amazes me how some guys demo a $25, 000 guitar and throw tons of distortion on it making it sound like any old $250.00 cheap guitar and not even getting a good distortion sound. You’ll sell a lot more guitars having guys like him representing the great sounds the guitar can produce.

The quality of the recent Squier stuff, in the hands of a good player, through a proper amp is shockingly good, especially for the money.

Brandon is such a fine player: accomplished, inventive and tasteful. More Brandon, please Norm!

If Lemmo takes a vacation I’d like to see Brandon given a shot at GOTD. Has a good range of styles in his locker and comes across well. Norm is lucky to have this pair on the books.

Norm has an abundance of good guitar players. The boys and the girls, they give a good presentation of the guitars they are showcasing and it is a pleasure to hear them play.

Excellent! Jazz on a Strat is always a nice treat.

Very well done, Brandon, thank you! It’s really great to hear the guitar’s tone instead of it being choked off by constant palm muting. You speak very well and have excellent knowledge of the particular instrument you demonstrated. Norm! More Brandon, PLEASE!!

This is an excellent guitar, I own both the 50 and the 60 CV's Strats. I sold my cV 50's tele [great sounding] but it was too heavy and the frets were not to my liking. Then, I bought the 60's Tele, but I ended up returning it because I didn't like the pickups...oh wells! But the Strats are out of this world. If you're looking for a Strat, check these out. You can't go wrong. Cheers!

Great sounding Strat. You can't go wrong with any C.V. Squier Strat. 👍

Wow, the line between CV and MIM is getting blurred in recent times. Best bang for buck!

I'd like to see him and Lemmo jam.

LOVE that jazz tune. Great playing! I do the jazzy thing on my Tele too.

No, Squier hasn’t just been knocking it out of the park recently. They’ve been making fantastic guitars for decades! I do recall a really bad batch of Squier standards from the ‘90s - but that was only the standard line, (the Affinity’s of the same time were great)and they fixed the spec pretty quickly.

I’ve owned a 1999 Affinity Strat, a 2012 Classic Vibe ‘50s Strat, (kinda regret ever selling them)and I now have a 2017 Bullet Telecaster. Squier is the bizzness, if they ever release a Jaguar that has all the original parts included, it’ll be an automatic purchase for me! 😁👍

I love my squire j-bass. Not a top end squire like this guitar, but it plays well and sounds decent for only 100 bucks.

Can confirm! Tried a few squier CVs and ended up buying an 50s CV in Fiesta red. I love playing it, it feels amazing! Only thing I will change are the pickups and Bridge Saddles.
