Thank you so much for these and what you do! A lot of us I imagine are still trying to make sense of our ADHD in terms of self identity or in context of society. Is it a disability, therefore I am disabled? (Also what would that even mean? Is it bad for my mental health to accept this? Or see it this way?) Is it only a neurodivergence? Therefore we don’t need the medical model or take the disability route in order to get supports? So many questions and points of view and pretty new too!!

Lost my job of almost two years today.

Here's a few things said to me:

- I've seen you do 100%, so you can't convince me that you can't do it consistently.
- Why do you go "up here" when I bring you in for coaching and then you fall back down?? (Cause I have...) "That's not an answer."
- If you can go up in performance (basically do the level neurotypicals do) after I coach you, why don't you come in on your own to ask about your numbers and ask for coaching. (Well, the way my condition works...) "Stop it. Stop that. You have this, but it's not who you are. You are trying to justify."

And the one that takes the cake: "You're as disadvantaged as someone who can't speak English. They are just as disadvantaged as you."
