We started our homestead adventure a little over two years ago, how far have we come. But have we come as far as we need to?

Hello! We are the DeShanos. We have a 40 acre homestead in northern Michigan called the Double D ranch. With our four children and grandpa Steve follow along as we establish our homestead, from goats, pigs and chickens to growing food in our garden. We learn to be a little bit more self sustaining everyday.
