From my experience, it's just you. I rarely ever see them and if I do they don't stay in the ball. I still have 0 Galarian birds. :P

I was thinking the same thing, that maybe they were appearing more frequently. I saw both Articuno and Zapdos around Halloween or after but only caught the articuno and a zero star.

I’ve seen 2. Both Zapdos. Both excellent, gold razz berry, ultra balls. Both fled on the first throw 😢

It’s distance my brother. Articuno two days ago when I traveled to Milan, not to mention 6 shinies in like 30 minutes, I was def getting rewarded for giving them sweet sweet data

It's great to just have at the ready a picture of a G-bird in a standard pokeball for whenever somebody complains about how hard it is to catch them.

My theory: I think it helps if you travel far from home. My wife caught a Galarian Zapdos on a regular throw on our trip to Mexico, under rain, on our last day there, at the airport, right before we got on the plane back to Peru.

Out of 6 galarian bird finds, I've caught 0. 2 of those times were excellent ultra ball golden razz berry throws but it wasn't enough

Those cp values are pretty decent for having good odds of catching. Since I started playing the game again a couple months ago, I’ve only had two encounters, both over 2, 000 cp. I used my master ball on my first one. The second one gave me two tries, both throws were great curveballs with ultra ball and golden razzberry, but still couldn’t catch it.

I got 3 birds, all in the month of January 2023, and never anything before or after lol. It was the craziest few weeks. One was a critical catch as well.

yesterday, I caught my first bird. I was really shocked when it appeared on my phone, so I decided to use a Master Ball because I was too scared to use an Ultra Ball. But I did catch a Moltres!

Used my master ball on a Galarian Zapdos. I was lucky that it had good attacks and great IV.

I caught 2 of them last year and saw them on nearly every Insense. None this entire year at all, no lol

Same, I recently found a galarian moltres and even though I've never caught one normally (I've thrown a masterball at my galarian arcticuno bc that was the one I really wanted) I gave it a golden raspberry and threw a hyperball at it and it actually stayed in first try (even though I completely missed the catch circle)
