Macro Lens 1:1 vs Extension Tube 65mm vs CloseUp Filter (Canon EOS M/M2/M3/M10) | Raynox 250

preview_player
Показать описание
Magnification comparison with EOS M2, using 3 macro tools:
- Tamron 60mm f2.0 1:1 Macro
- EF Extension Tube 65mm with AF and Electrical Contacts
- Raynox DCR-250 (Close up Filter)

Tests done are as follows:
1. Regular Lens
2. Regular Lens + Raynox
3. Macro Lens
4. Macro Lens + Raynox
5. Macro Lens + Extension Tube
6. Macro Lens + Extension Tube + Raynox

Conclusion:
If you don't mind the shallow DOF and willing to focus patiently, then using all three will give you the best magnification ever and without sacrificing image quality too much!

Thanks for watching

Raynox only works well on longer focal lengths, macro tubes are better for short focal lengths. Tests like this are useless if you are using full auto modes, why would you do this?

Have you tried any focus stacking yet? Have you tried the Panasonic G7 or GH4, they both have post focus selection of small 4K video clips and I believe you can save many pictures with this method for focus stacking. It was a firmware upgrade on all of their G cameras...you can check a video called "Experience 4K Post Focus in Panasonic LUMIX Cameras - Presented by LUMIX."
