Excuse me sir what is the maximum permissible current for the cn3791 will it be safe to use a step down converter for a 18v 10w solar panel to step down to 6v for optimal current to pass which is 1-2A as you mentioned

I need to charge 2 batteries of 3.7V that are in series and provide 7.4 volt to the load. But I have one problem, I can only use a 6V solay panel as a source(this is project requirement). Is there any solution to charge 2 batteries of 3.7v in series with a solarpanel of 6V capacity?
