My ambrosia salad is one can of drained fruit cocktail, one can drained mandarin oranges, one can drained pineapple tidbits, one apple peeled and small chopped, one small jar of maraschino cherries drained and halved, half cup shredded coconut, 1 cup of pecans chopped without the dust, half a small bag of colored mini marshmallows and one regular size container of cool whip all mixed together. If any nut allergies don’t include pecans. If anyone in the crowd doesn’t like coconut I put it in a separate bowl so people can add if they want it. That’s my house because two of my kids don’t like coconut. I usually save a whole cherry to put on top. My sister in law goes the sour cream route but mine is more popular. Sour cream cuts some of the sweetness and gives it more of a tangy taste.

My oldet sister and i meal plan
Split the bill in half
And we cook what we are known for making
And plus i do the clean up cause my sister does main cooking/host
And it has helped our sister relationship since we took over cooking for holidays
And my mom just watches Netflix and gives her approval cause she taught us to cook

In my ambrosia salad, I use what you use for fruit plus maraschino cherries & mix with 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt & 8 ozs. frozen whipped topping like cool whip. ❤

Since my husband and I don’t have children and don’t live close to family, I don’t cook for Easter. We go out or just do nothing special . But this year I cooked. So I made your pork tenderloin with the spices and soy sauce, like the one you posted the other week. It was sooo delicious. Made a pineapple casserole, and funeral potatoes. It was so good. Then I cooked some mixed greens. Your Easter dinner inspired me to cook.❤️ It was delicious😜

To Mac and cheese I like to add mushrooms and bacon pieces and top it with tomato slices and cheese. So good

My mom made ambrosia salad with canned fruit cocktail, canned mandarin oranges. Instant vanilla pudding mix made as the box says. A container of cool whip, mini marshmallows and chopped pecans. And she added maraschino cherries halved. Yum!!

I’m with you about the sourdough bread, I don’t have any desire to jump into that « fashion » there is so much good bread recipes around for me to start all the fuss of sourdough 🙂🙂 I wish we had Wildgrain in Quebec Canada

I will be serving lamb with potato croquettes, asparagus wrapped with bacon, creamy mashed potato, green salad and roasted Brussels sprouts. Loved you recipes - might add the tortellini salad as an alternative! God bless you and your family!

Thank you. It all looked beautiful and delicious. I'm going to try a couple of these for Easter this year. I wanted to switch it up a bit this year. I love how brightly colored some of the dishes were and that is what I'm looking for this year. I hope you and your family have an amazing Easter. ❤

First off, great 👍 video. Your cooking is amazing.
I’m trying the pork tenderloin first and the very last lemon with the lemon frosting, and then the pretzel salad. I haven’t made that in years. You gave me some new recipes to start making my Easter dinner favorites.
Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙

I make ham for Easter . I buy a spiral cut ham, I mix brown sugar and ground cloves together. I put maple syrup on the ham and the put the brown sugar mixture on the ham then i put the ham in a 350 degree over for about 3-4 hours basting every hour. Its a family favorite.

I’ll be making some of your Italian Christmas Cookies with pastel colored frosting; I think they’ll be perfect for Easter.

I've told you before, but I grew up in MA. My grandfather made mac and cheese like your mom. I haven't had it since I was a child in the 80s. I make my own mac and cheese but not like this. I need to do it next time. We are eating some now that I made on the stovetop. I think my husband would love the baked. Thank you!!
