Great thing about free standing walls is that once you're done filming on that bathroom set they can be reused for different "rooms" with minimal work.

Those metal connectors that you used to attach the lumber together are wood to wood rail connectors. According to another video that I have seen, they say to use drywall joint compound between the flats and then sand it smooth for painting.

It's a very stylised look. If that is what the rest of your film looks like then trying to make a real bathroom work would have broken the look you were going for.
