Really appreciate that you included your mistakes and learnings on attaching the legs - saved me from making the exact same mistakes :)

Thank you for showing us sometimes the plan doesnt always work out and you have to adapt and adjust. I've been watching so many "perfect" videos and its so discouraging. Your table is beautiful BECAUSE its not perfectly square or perfectly flat.

I absolutely love the way the table turned out. But what I love the most is the way this video was put together because of the transparency and honesty when it came to showing the real process considering the fact that there are many DIYers out there like me who have little to no experience with wood working. You have shown your audience that it can be done with minimal tools. This is very helpful! Thank you!

Great job! I will be making one this winter. So thanks for making all the mistakes for me first!

Great Video. I am an amateur wood worker with roughly the same tools and setup you guys have. I am getting better with each project and learning things the hard way. It is nice to see a video of people who aren't professionals in a $50, 000 workshop. My next project is a farmhouse dining table which is how I found you.

You guys need to flip the 2x10 on top so the grain goes in opposite directions on every other board or you will have cupping issues in the future.

I love you guys! I have no experience doing stuff like this, but want to learn. I have learned a ton just watching one video. I think really like that you are also learning, like with the legs on the 10 foot table. It is refreshing to get away from the “ I already know everything, and you should know everything, too” attitude I see so much. Thanks!

You can remove the screws if you need to remove the legs. Take a wood screw, place it on the center of the wood dowel plug and screw it in. When the screw bottoms out on top of the screw head hold the gussets it will push the dowel out exposing the screw underneath.

Love the video and instruction. Learn as you go, working the problems is priceless! Great looking table!

On the kreg jig bit, the 1-1/2 setting is the same as the 1-1/4 setting. Hence why it poked out too far, you had it bottomed out. The point of setting the jig at 1-1/2 is so the hole ends up in the center of the 2x. If with it correctly set, the screw still came out, just shorten the depth setting of the bit a little bit at a time until it no longer protrudes.

For the legs, they are typically attached with the hanger bolts from the outside by not having the rails go all the way to the corner. This lets the hanger bolts pull it tight against the rails and hold everything tight.

Was really cool watching this table come to life! Especially with minimalistic tools most would have used

Always on the end side main reason is for fitting through door way’s etc but for a first time project you did amazing job. I supplement my income at home by making children furniture and a lot of outdoor furniture.

Nicely done. It became a beautiful table. Next time rotate the grains against eachother to avoid cupping of the top. Something i learned from an old carpinter. 🎉🎉🎉 well done!!

I do love people making things with few basic tools. Many diy channels are showing making things with very expensive tools and ordinary people cannot dream of following. I love your channel and learnt so much today. Thanks a lot.
